What are they?

Restylane™ and Perlane™ are innovative, stable, hyaluronic acids that have chemical structures similar in some ways to sugar, thus leading to the alternate name of sugar gels. A leading Swedish company, dedicated to the enhancement of natural beauty, developed Restylane™ and Perlane™. What are Restylane™ and Perlane™ treatments like?

• The needles used for Restylane™, Perlane™ are very fine, and most patients are pleasantly surprised by the minimal amount of discomfort they experience. However, you will be pre-treated with a topical anesthetic cream to ensure your comfort.

• Treatments generally take about thirty minutes and the results are immediately noticeable.

• The treatment area may be slightly red and swollen for up to 24 hours.

• Because the effects of Restylane™ and Perlane™ are completely reversible, any side effects should be temporary.
